Burgess Rawson is always encouraging its staff to look after their health and wellbeing in the work place. As part of this commitment to the mental health of their employees Burgess Rawson run a staff Wellness Program throughout the year with varying activities that all staff are invited to participate in.
The latest addition to their program is a morning meditation session run by one of their very own Property Managers, Beth Jarman. Since returning from a meditation and yoga retreat in Sri Lanka, Beth has been studying to complete her course in teaching guided meditations to individuals and larger groups.
Meditation has been proven to lower stress levels, improve the functioning of your brain, boost your immune system and even help you to get a good night’s sleep. During the course of a stressful week a regular meditation practice can greatly assist in maintaining an overall sense of wellbeing.
Burgess Rawson employees are using this weekly meditation practice to rejuvenate and come to work more focused on the tasks at hand.
