Michael’s in-depth knowledge of the North Queensland property market has placed him at the forefront of many notable transactions and developments over the years.
As a regional expert, Michael also has broad experience across multiple asset classes including retail, fast food, convenience retail, medical, liquor and industrial properties.
Michael hails from a rich family history spanning some 60 years and has inherited the drive and dedication that were instrumental in contributing to the booming progress of North Queensland.
As a previous Townsville Mayor, Michael’s popular grandfather, Max Hooper was renowned for procuring phenomenal growth for the area. Max secured key funding for major iconic projects including the Great Barrier Reef aquarium, which is now the world’s largest living coral reef aquarium. He was also involved in a number of landmark residential and industrial subdivisions in Townsville and Magnetic island.
