New Pimpama tavern chasing investors with a thirst

Investors with a thirst for pubs are being offered the chance to buy a new Pimpama one that will be run by Terry Morris’s The Good Times group but will not serve its first beer until mid-2022.

The Pimpama Central Tavern in Dixon Drive is being developed by ADCO Constructions and will return a landlord more than $1m a year.

The project, which will include a drive-through bottleshop, will adjoin two earlier ADCO projects – a servo and fast-food outlets and a Hoppy’s carwash.

It will be across the road from the Woolworths-anchored Pimpama Junction shopping centre.

The property is being sold via expressions of interest campaign run by Glenn Conridge of Burgess Rawson and Pat Kelly of Kelly & Co Property. It closes on November 17.

Mr Conridge yesterday said the tavern was an obvious and perfect addition to a rapidly emerging precinct at Pimpama.

“Over the past two years, Pimpama, statistically, has been described as the fastest-growing area in Australia.”

Sirromet Wines founder Mr Morris’s The Good Times group is leasing the tavern for 10 years, with options to extend by a further 20.

The tavern, which is under construction and due for July completion, will sit on a 7862sq m site and include a beer garden and parking for 99 cars.
