Four SA assets to go under hammer

Published on: 03/08/2021

Burgess Rawson has changed details of its upcoming portfolio auction in response to state lockdowns.

A total of 52 properties across the country will go under the hammer in the two-day national auction event, which starts today.

Phone and online bidding will be available for today’s Sydney-based auction, which starts at 10.30am Adelaide time, but the Melbourne-based sales event has been postponed until next week.

Four South Australian properties, including two Shell petrol stations, will feature in the line-up of sales on August 10, with phone and online bidding available when it starts at 10am Adelaide time.

Fuel and fast food assets including United, Viva Energy, KFC, Domino’s and Hungry Jack’s sites across the country will all be on offer to investors across the two days.

The $165m portfolio auction will be Burgess Rawson’s fifth and largest investment portfolio auction of 2021.

South Australian properties listed for sale include petrol stations leased to Viva Energy in Queenstown and Parafield Gardens, and a recently refurbished property in Mount Gambier anchored by major tenant ANZ.

An industrial site in Para Hills is the fourth local listing, offering a recently renewed eight-year lease to AMA Group, with an eight-year extension option.
