Burgess Rawson’s June Portfolio auction campaign to feature ten ECEC freeholds for sale
Burgess Rawson, the early childhood education and care (ECEC) focused real estate and business broker, has confirmed that its June auction campaign will feature ten high-quality freeholds for sale, following on from the strong precedent set at its May auctions.
“As we approach the midpoint of the year we are thrilled to be able to confirm ten first-class ECEC freehold opportunities that will be presented at our upcoming auction campaign,” Adam Thomas, Burgess Rawson Managing Director Queensland said.
“It is becoming clear that the resilience of the child care centre asset class, despite rising interest rates and workforce concerns, remains robust with broad investor interest supporting transactions and prices.”
May was a particularly strong month for ECEC freeholds with 12 changing hands in the month with Burgess Rawson confirming a blended yield of 5.18 per cent on sales, down slightly from the 5.30 per cent achieved in the first quarter of 2023.
Of special note was the sale of a Goodstart Early Learning Centre in Mosman which sold for $4.41 million on a yield of just 2.75 per cent, the lowest ever recorded for this class of investment.
Burgess Rawson’s 161st portfolio auction will take place across three locations on 20, 21, and 22 June.
