Burgess Rawson kicks off 2022 with 150th portfolio auction featuring six ECEC centres

Burgess Rawson, the early childhood education and care (ECEC) focused real estate and business broker, has confirmed its first portfolio auctions for 2022 will be held in mid February marking a significant milestone, being the 150th portfolio auction in the company’s history.

More than 40 properties will go under the hammer across three auction days in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to commence Burgess Rawson’s 2022 portfolio auction series with the line-up including properties priced from $650,000 through to $12.5 million and comprising key asset classes such as childcare, medical, office and fuel convenience.

“After an exceptionally strong year in 2021 we are very much looking forward to more of the same in 2022,” National Head of Agency Adam Thomas said. “ There is still strong momentum, confidence and interest in commercial property, but particularly in the ECEC space.”

“Our 150th portfolio auction will see six exceptional ECEC sites listed for sale all of which boast long leases with highly reputable operators.”

The sites in the upcoming auction are as follows:

Sydney Auction – 22 February

36 licence place centre in Picton, NSW leased to The Early Learning Hub

Melbourne Auction – 23 February

40 licence places in Seaford, VIC leased to Busy Bees Australia

96 licence places in Sunbury, VIC leased to Bambini ELC

152 licence places in Lara, VIC leased to Journey Early Learning

132 licence place centre in Watsonia North, VIC leased to Advance Childcare Management

94 licence place centre in Ormond, VIC leased to Elles Belles Early Learning

 

The auctions will be held with bidding available online, via phone or in person in Sydney at the Sydney Opera House on 22 February and  Melbourne at the Crown Casino on 23 February.
