Significant investor interest is expected when Mackay’s Gasworks Complex goes to auction in February.
The complex on Shakespeare Street, which comprises three individual strata allotments with long term tenants on a 4512sqm site, will be auctioned in Sydney by Burgess Rawson.
Burgess Rawson QLD director Glenn Conridge said the property is expected to draw in high levels of interest from metro and regional investors.
“The complex is a prominent and well established property situated on a sizable lot, so we are anticipating this property will attract significant interest at auction,” he said. “The retail centre is largely leased to medical related tenancies such as Southside Medical Centre, Arch Dental and Elite Physio as well as Dominos, The Cheesecake Shop and Miss India.”
The auction of the site follows $13.98million of recent sales by Burgess Rawson in Mackay including a NAB, two Westpac branches, Mackay North childcare centre and a Snap Fitness.
