What inspires you most about working at Burgess Rawson?
Jessica: The variety. I get to see incredible assets and play a role in creating wealth for clients. It’s rewarding to work with tenants, landlords, and stakeholders, ensuring fairness and balance while integrating everyone’s needs.
Tony: The ability to draw on my strategic expertise to enhance asset performance and create long-term value. Whether it’s optimising portfolios, aligning assets with organisational goals, or overseeing capital projects, I enjoy the challenge of making a tangible impact.
Chris: Definitely the relationships. I’ve been in commercial property management for 15 years, and now in my 5th year at Burgess Rawson. In that time, I’ve built strong connections with clients and the team, which makes a big difference in driving successful outcomes.
What keeps you motivated in this role?
Jessica: The challenges. No two days are the same. I enjoy finding ways to add value and grow portfolios. Whether it’s lease negotiations or asset management, there’s always an opportunity to make a difference.
Tony: I’m driven by results. Conducting feasibility studies, identifying development opportunities, and staying ahead of market trends keeps me engaged. The evolving nature of the industry means there’s always room to refine strategies and improve performance.
Chris: Seeing the financial performance of assets improve. I really enjoy renegotiating leases to improve value and working with a diversified portfolio, especially industrial properties and specialised assets.
