Four South Australian properties will feature in Burgess Rawson’s final portfolio auction of the year next month.
A Total Tools store at Mount Barker, a childcare centre at Huntfield Heights and a United service station at Pennington will all go under the hammer, together with an office building in Kadina.
The four local properties will be auctioned on December 15 – the second day of the three-day national event.
A total of 74 properties around the country will be sold off, including 15 fuel and convenience stores and 13 childcare centres.
The properties range in value from $500,000 to $21 million.
Burgess Rawson national head of agency Adam Thomas said the strength of the commercial property market was likely to continue well into next year, and essential service investments were proving particularly popular.
“Childcare has been a clear example of this,’ he said.
“Quality tenants, strategic locations, long leases and secure rental returns prove highly desirable.
“We have seen plenty of interest throughout the year from investors that have not typically looked at commercial investments.’
Burgess Rawson’s upcoming auctions will be held on December 14 in Sydney, on December 15 in Melbourne and on December 16 in Brisbane, with bidding available by phone, online or in person at participating state offices.
