Dalby Super Cheap Auto Listed For Sale by Burgess Rawson Commercial Real Estate

A brand new opportunity in Dalby’s main street has opened for an aspiring business owner and automotive enthusiast.

Super Cheap Auto at 78 Cunningham Street has been listed for auction by Burgess Rawson commercial real estate.

The franchise of the national retail giant is nestled in the heart of Dalby’s CBD, with plenty of foot traffic passing the shop entrance each day.

Burgess Rawson real estate agent Craig Chapman said renovations in April had “decked out” the Cunningham Street business for its next potential owner.

“The whole shop has brand new specs, with new lighting, shelving, and more…it’s like stepping into a Super Cheap in the middle of Brisbane,” Mr Chapman said.

“The market is really hot at the moment for these types of assets, and they have a very strong tenant here with Super Cheap Auto.”

Mr Chapman said the pandemic had led to an increase in popularity for home and car improvement businesses.

“Anything to do with automotive, home renovations like Ideal Electrical and Bunnings have been going absolutely crazy,” he said.

“Super Cheap Auto is owned by the Super Retail Group, and they’re one of the top 10 retailers in Australia at the moment, so it’s definitely a good investment for the right person.

“A business like this will be there for a long time, and generally won’t move once they have a spot like that in the CBD.”

The ten-year lease on the business has four years remaining for the next prospective buyer.

An auction will take place in Brisbane on September 29.
