Burgess Rawson readies for next remote auction, three ECEC properties on sale

Burgess Rawson has confirmed that three early childhood education and care (ECEC) centres will be included in its next Melbourne portfolio auction scheduled for 28 October 2020.

The auction will be conducted in a similar format to its previous auction with it held out of state in Sydney with bidding online, by phone and also in person for those located in Sydney.

Adam Thomas, Director at Burgess Rawson, said “We are pleased to be working towards our next auction which will be a virtual event. We are confident it will be a success after September’s auction which had a similar format and experienced all time high registrations and strong bidding on the day.”

The upcoming auction will see three ECEC centres included:

A 75 license place centre in Altona Meadows, Victoria currently leased to Victorian provider Baby Bells Pty Ltd
An 85 place centre in Maryborough, Queensland currently leased to Affinity Education Group and operating under the Aussie Kindies brand
A 74 licence place centre in Wulguru, Townsville, Queensland currently leased to Guppy’s Early Learning
“Childcare has been the only sector to receive industry-specific funding and support throughout the COVID pandemic,” Mr Thomas said “Over the course of the last several months yields have held firm, demonstrating the significant demand that remains within the market and ongoing confidence in the prospects for the space.”

“The three centres we are presenting at our upcoming auction are expected to perform amidst an environment of increasing confidence for ECEC assets.”
